Gas Hot Water Installation, service & repairs to all Brisbane Suburbs
Gas hot water can be broken in 2 distinct types
Storage units and continuous flow (what some may know as instantaneous) units
As suggested storage units store and keep hot a storage unit full of water.
Continuous flow unit’s heat as it is used and do not store any water preheated ready for use.
Storage units are more suitable when there are 3 or more people using the unit.
Continuous flow units have a higher demand for gas when in use and this may restrict where they can be installed.
We supply, install and repair Rheem, Aquamax, Bosch, Dux, Rinnai and Everhot storage and continuous flow gas hot water units
Storage units come in stainless steel and Vitreous enamelled lined mild steel and range in warranty period from 5 through to 10 years
In Brisbane we have a choice of natural or mains gas and LPG or bottled gas although some newer areas do have mains LPG gas feed from local storage pressure tanks
Some stainless steel storage tanks are not available in LPG
From the 1 January 2010 it is illegal to replace or install an electric hot water system in a class 1 or class 1A building where a gas meter is in place or can be installed at no cost. (See attached PDF)
